Part Three of Three: Go On Living Together

This is the third post in a three-part series I wrote for my church blog about my spiritual wrestlings as I went through my cancer journey. Who knew that this would then be so pertinent in the second half of this year as my husband now recovers from his spinal cord injury.

“Life remains beautiful and hard, blessed and uncertain. Navigating the ups and downs is possible not just because we receive from Christ’s strength, but also from His vulnerability. From there, we can also support and walk with each other in both our strengths and vulnerabilities as well.”

The overarching title of the three-part series was, “Blessed are Those With and Without a Cancer Diagnosis.” Blessings and the greatest treasures in life are not reserved only for the healthy. There is life for all of us to find – and share with each other – as we journey through all our highs and lows. You can read this final post in the series here.

(ICYMI: The first post titled “When God Says No” is here, and the second post titled “Reckoning with Illness and Death” is here.)
