Earlier this year, I had an opportunity to participate in one of the most meaningful conversations to date about what it is like to be professional caregivers who regularly care for people at the end of life. What are the stories we absorb from our healthcare cultures, the stories we tell ourselves as we process, cope and try to endure for the long haul in this work? How are those stories helping or harming us, and how are they helping or harming the quality of care we provide?
This conversation with the incredible Palliative Care physician Sunita Puri, hospice social worker Lisa Pahl, and our facilitator and grief expert, Lisa Keefauver, is so rich, so honest, and full of insight.
Deep thanks to Medicinal Media and Unlikely Collaborators for producing and facilitating this beautiful time.
